For one weekend, the Château de Chamerolles invites all residents of the Loiret department to (re)discover their heritage. Whether you're a regular visitor or have never dared to cross the drawbridge, this event is designed to offer you a unique encounter with the history and culture of the Loiret.

During these two days, entry to the château and access to all activities are completely free for Loiret residents (upon presentation of proof of residence). It's the perfect opportunity for a family outing or a trip with friends to the heart of our beautiful region.

🎙️ On the agenda: Short tours so you don't miss a thing
To enhance your visit, our guides offer short and engaging tours to explore the estate's iconic features:
"History of Chamerolles" Short Tours: Delve into the major stages of the château's evolution, from its foundation at the beginning of the Renaissance to the present day, from its key figures to the various stages of its construction.
Times: 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:30 PM
"The Perfume Organ" Short Tours: A sensory immersion to understand the art of perfumery and discover this centerpiece of our collections.
Times: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM
📸 New Photo Exhibition: "A Journey to the Heart of the Loiret"
The weekend of April 11th and 12th also marks the opening of our new photography exhibition. Through a selection of captivating images, embark on a visual journey to discover the landscapes, wildlife, and hidden treasures of our region. Find it in our Renaissance gardens behind the castle.
Exhibition open from April 11th to September 20th.
👧 For Young Explorers
Children are not forgotten! The "Gardens of Chamerolles" activity booklet will be available free of charge at reception. Riddles and observations will allow them to explore our Renaissance gardens in a fun and interactive way.

Free entry for residents of the Loiret department (proof of residence required: vehicle registration document, utility bill, etc.).
Regular admission fees apply for visitors residing outside the department (€10 for adults / €6 for children aged 6-17 / free for children under 6).
Castle opening hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
