Forget the 21st century for a weekend and immerse yourself in the excitement of a Renaissance festival. Between sword duels, ancestral skills, and burlesque shows, the castle comes alive to offer you a total immersion in the era of Francis I.

Fencing: The Swordsmen of Saint-Jean will thrill you with the clash of blades (with introductory sessions for the bravest!).
Burlesque Show: The company "Les Pêchus" promises laughter for the whole family.
The Incredible Epic of Francis I: A captivating tale by the company "Hent Ar Mor".
Renaissance Music: The duo "Philemon" will enchant the castle chapel.

The King's Wardrobe: Admire the costumes of Francis I with "Fashions of Yesteryear."

Games and Sports: Archery with "La Brette Noire" and the games esplanade with "Ad Tempus."

The Master-at-Arms Workshop: A weapons demonstration by the company "La Brette Noire" to learn all about the secrets of blades and chivalry.

Renaissance Dance: Demonstrations by about twenty couples from "La Bravandrille" followed by a beginner's lesson to get the audience dancing.

✨ The Major New Features of the 2026 Edition
Da Vinci's Workshop: On the ground floor of the castle, step into the world of the Italian genius thanks to the company "Le chat qui rêve" and the "Troubetzkoy" gallery.
The Prelude Concert (Friday, July 17): Starting at 8 p.m., the church in Chilleurs-aux-Bois will host 60 choristers and 4 musicians from the "Exultate" company for an exceptional free concert.
