🍬 Workshop Tour: "Renaissance Cuisine"
A gourmet afternoon to discover the flavors of yesteryear
On December 21st and 30th, the Château de Chamerolles invites children aged 6 to 12 on a culinary journey through time. During this festive season, what could be better than discovering how Renaissance lords delighted their guests?
On the agenda for this "yummy" workshop:
The Gourmet Tour: To begin, children will enjoy a short themed tour of the château. They will discover the secrets of the kitchens, the rare spices used at the time, and the surprising customs of royal banquets.
The "Disguised Fruits" Workshop: Time for some hands-on fun! A staple of holiday tables for centuries, disguised fruits (dates, prunes, or walnuts filled with colored marzipan) will hold no more secrets for them. Each child will be able to make their own sweets to take home (or enjoy on site!).
