Guided tour of the Châtelet - September 20 and 21

Don't miss the opportunity to visit a place usually closed to the public. For 15 minutes, push open the doors of one of the castle's towers, which is never opened under normal circumstances, to enter the gatehouse. What is the Gatehouse? It's the enormous entrance tower in front of the drawbridge, under which every visitor passes to access the castle. Our site guardian, positioned between the moats and the courtyard, is a spectator of the comings and goings of visitors. A sentinel, visible from afar, she keeps her secrets. Come then and uncover some of them while admiring her beautiful framework on the 2nd floor. You'll have to climb between 50 and 60 steps to reach the framework. Thanks to our team of cultural mediators, you will enter this space which usually remains secret and silent all year round.
