On Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th, 2026, the Château de Chamerolles opens its doors wide for an enchanting experience. For the national event "Rendez-vous aux Jardins" (Gardens Open Days), come celebrate nature, biodiversity, and history within our estate, designated a Sensitive Natural Area since 2023. Whether you're passionate about botany, a history buff, or simply looking for a wonderful family outing, discover the program for this unique edition.

🌸 Guided tours combining history and botany
Let us guide you and reveal the secrets hidden behind our walls and along our flower-lined paths:
"From the Garden and Roses": Treat yourself to a unique olfactory and visual immersion amidst our magnificent rose collections. (Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 pm and 4 pm)
Château Tours: Explore the fascinating history of Chamerolles and travel back in time with our guides. (Saturday and Sunday at 11 am)
The guides tours are only in french.
- Special pricing on June 6th and 7th: €6 per person, free for children under 6.
- Guided tours: a supplement of €2 per person will be charged for the guided tour (applicable to both the castle and garden tours).
🧒 For children: creativity and exploration
The youngest visitors are given pride of place with activities designed specifically to spark their curiosity:
"Paper Windmill" Workshop (ages 6-12): A fun and creative experience where each child can make and take home their own creation! (Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5 pm)
"The Gardens of Chamerolles" Children's Booklet (ages 6-12): A fun and educational resource, free of charge (available at the ticket office), for exploring the park while having fun.
🕵️ Independent: adventures at your own pace throughout the day
A floral treasure hunt: from room to room, follow the clues as a family to unravel the mysteries of the fragrant world of plants and flowers.
"The Rose, from Garden to Perfume" booklet for teens and adults: available at the ticket office, this booklet will reveal all the secrets of the queen of flowers and its historical use in perfumery.
📷 Don't miss: the temporary photo exhibition
Take advantage of your visit to admire the photographic exhibition by Damien Leguel and Robert Theyssens, two talented photographers from the Loiret region. On display in the Renaissance gardens behind the castle, this exhibition beautifully highlights the rich fauna, flora, and landscapes of the Loiret. A true ode to our regional biodiversity!
