What's happening this weekend, April 6 and 7?

Like every year, on the first weekend of April, we open the castle free of charge to all residents of Loiret. “The Loirétains weekend”, like a bridge between the castle and its inhabitants, is an opportunity for us to help you (re)discover our monument, its collections and its history.

Regular micro-visits to introduce you to the history of the castle. + information on site.

21 rooms for you visit with the history of perfums and furnished living rooms

More than practical information

  • Opening of the monument: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (without interruption)
  • Free access for residents of Loiret with proof (rent receipt, electricity bill, etc. mentioning your city)
  • Regular micro-visits to introduce you to the history of the castle. + information on site.
  • Last admission to the castle: 5:30 p.m.
  • If you are not a resident of Loiret, the usual rates apply
  • Children's booklet available at reception (puzzle booklet for 7-12 year olds)
  • “Feathers” exhibition in the Renaissance gardens (photographies)
  • “Enchanting Birds” exhibition in the upper gallery of the castle: anatomy, behavior and song of birds.
