Like every year, on the first weekend of April, we open the castle free of charge to all residents of Loiret. “The Loirétains weekend”, like a bridge between the castle and its inhabitants, is an opportunity for us to help you (re)discover our monument, its collections and its history.
And what's happen this year is...
Regular micro-visits to introduce you to the history of the castle. + information on site.
21 rooms for you visit with the history of perfums and furnished living rooms
More than practical information
- Opening of the monument: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (without interruption)
- Free access for residents of Loiret with proof (rent receipt, electricity bill, etc. mentioning your city)
- Regular micro-visits to introduce you to the history of the castle. + information on site.
- Last admission to the castle: 5:30 p.m.
- If you are not a resident of Loiret, the usual rates apply
- Children's booklet available at reception (puzzle booklet for 7-12 year olds)
- “Feathers” exhibition in the Renaissance gardens (photographies)
- “Enchanting Birds” exhibition in the upper gallery of the castle: anatomy, behavior and song of birds.
