July 10 and August 7
at 4 p.m.

In keeping with our cabinet of curiosities on the first floor of the château, we offer a creative workshop to create your own cabinet to take home. Using recycled materials, your imagination, and the expert advice of our guide, you will be guided step by step through this fun family workshop.

July 24 and August 14
at 3 p.m.

Formerly called Paperolles, this art of wrapping paper is making a comeback, and contemporary artists are using this technique to create graphic paper decorations! Want to imitate them? Come to our creative workshop to wrap strips of paper and create your own decorations, such as animals or plants. Draw inspiration from our park and gardens for ideas! A family workshop not to be missed!

Scents, spices, and fragrances... we know all about them in Chamerolles. Combine that with a creative touch, and we invite you to join a workshop to create your own spiced candle. You'll be guided step by step through the process, with all the necessary materials at your disposal: a baking sheet, a saucepan, a wick, fragrance, spices, and more. You'll leave with your creation to fill your home with an iconic "Chamerolles" fragrance! A wonderful workshop to share with teens and adults!

Saturday, July 12
7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

To celebrate summer, we're offering a dreamlike and sensory evening. Explore the castle by candlelight and discover a scent trail. In the form of a treasure hunt, go from room to room, take on our challenges and solve our puzzles, all in an atmosphere where candles and soft lighting will immerse you in the castle's nocturnal ambiance.

Price: €10/adult and €6/child for the evening opening (in addition to the daytime rate, if you visit the castle during the day, you will need to pay the evening rate for your evening).
Do you need to book in advance? Yes, please call us at +33 2 38 39 84 66 to reserve your seats. Several departures will be offered every 15 minutes throughout the evening.
You will also have the opportunity to picnic in the park before or after your stroll through the castle (if you wish).

A true journey back in time to the Renaissance era, with a multitude of activities and entertainment awaiting you throughout this epic weekend. On the program: - knightly tournament - weaponry - archery - ancient crafts - music - costumes - burlesque shows - crafts with the Compagnons du Devoir - XXL wooden games - fencing show - mini historical tours of the castle - Renaissance gastronomy - daily life - ... On the program, some 60 artists and artisans await you at the castle for this immersion in the Renaissance period. A wonderful day to spend with family or friends. It's up to you to marvel!

"Comedy and Fencing" show offered only on Saturday evening, July 19, around 8:30 p.m.

From July 5th to September 21st

A unique treasure hunt each year to help you discover the Renaissance Gardens in a fun way. Puzzles and challenges await you. Deduction and your sense of smell will be your allies.

You will be given a booklet to pick up at the ticket office upon arrival. Page after page, you will have to go right or left in our park and gardens to solve puzzles, play with your senses, smell scents in jars, and take on our challenges to discover words that will form a definition. At the end of the booklet, using the completed definition, you will have to deduce the "Secret Word" of the summer.

If you succeed, a surprise awaits you at reception... but shh! This is a secret :)

An evening in blue featuring music, a fire juggling show, a candlelit tour of the castle, a giant bubble show, and games await you for a convivial moment in our gardens and park. Don't forget to come dressed in blue for this memorable evening (2nd edition).

Inns on wheels are also available in the park: food trucks and cocktail trucks, where you can enjoy delicious meals prepared by our restaurant owners for the evening and enjoy a custom cocktail with our bartender.
